CCA BOOK SERIES

These book designs were created for my Typography 2 class in the spring of 2021. We were tasked with designing three book covers for the CCA (Canadian Center for Architecture, Montreal). The subjects: three architects whose works represent three distinct styles and movements: Frank Gehry (Deconstructionism); Louis Sullivan (Chicago style, influenced by Art Nouveau); Richard Neutra (Modernism). I used color and form to emulate each architect's style. There remains a likeness between the three that creates a unified identity for the institution.
