This campaign was created for my Graphic Design 2 class in the fall of 2022. This semester-long assignment asked us to choose a cause and create a campaign from scratch. I chose the issue of inactivity in the workplace, and nature as a necessary remedy. The average office worker spends almost 1,700 hours in front of a computer screen, or about six and a half hours per day. Inactivity has become one of the biggest health concerns in the modern age. Inactive employees are less likely to be motivated and productive at work, contributing to a negative work environment.

This campaign will encourage corporate workers to spend more time outside by underlining its importance to health and the hidden benefits in productivity; nature can actually enhance work productivity! This campaign will disassociate self care with “wasted” time and money, and rebrand it as an accessible way to achieve a better work life balance. Self care doesn’t have to be counterproductive!
